Exterior Painting  

Master Painters offers a customized proposal detailed for each project, so you will know just what to expect as the work is being done.  Here is a basic outline of the general steps we take for exterior projects.  

Preparation 

Home will first be pressure cleaned or hand cleaned with a mild solution of bleach and T.S.P. (Tri-Sodium Phosphate) to remove mildew spores, algea, acid rain, salts and dirt. 

All loose and scaly paint will be scraped, sanded, calked, puttied, spackled (1 coat) and resanded for smoothness.  Also, power sanding where needed and wood burning as necessary. 

Paint  

Any and all bare wood will receive two (2) coats of primer.  All other painted wood, metal or plastic will be given two (2) coats of   acrylic latex paint.

Finishing  

Grounds are cleaned daily. Windows and grounds of the work area are cleaned thoroughly upon completion of the job.
